Reschedule & Cancellation Policy

Acceptance of Enrolment

When a student accepts a place offered by ETA Training and pays the associated fees, a binding contract is created between the student and the RTO (ETA Training partners with Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO #90909) and the applicable Terms & Conditions will be deemed accepted.

This policy should be read in conjunction with the student handbook, course information and enrolment terms & conditions.

Please note the minimum course entry requirements for all students in attendance at public venues &/or for private client and on-site courses:

1. Completion of all required online pre-course work

2. Punctual attendance

3. Provision of valid photographic evidence of identification

4. Adherence to dress code (appropriate grooming, enclosed shoes and any other personal protective equipment (PPE) required)

We understand that unexpected situations can arise. If you need to cancel/withdraw/reschedule your in-person or virtual course, sufficient notice must be given to be eligible for a refund or to reschedule. A student who wishes to cancel/withdraw/reschedule must submit the request in writing to admin@etatraining.com.au.

Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling with Notice:
If we receive your reschedule request two or more business days before your scheduled course, no reschedule fees will apply. You will have the option to reschedule at no cost or be offered a credit voucher which can we used to rebook at a later date.

Late Rescheduling:
If your request is made less than two business days before your scheduled course, a 25% administration fee will apply. Payment via credit card over the phone may be required.

No-Shows and Entry Denial:
If you do not attend your course or are denied entry for not meeting the minimum course entry requirements, no reschedules will be offered and you will need to rebook the course at full cost. ‍

Refund Policy

Refund with Notice: Refund requests received at least seven business days before your scheduled course will be considered for a full refund.

Late Refund Request: Refund requests received between two to seven business days before your scheduled course will be considered for a full refund less 25% administration fee. Refund requests received within 2 business days before your scheduled course will receive a nil refund.

Refund Requests

  • Refunds are reviewed by our accounts department, which may request additional documentation. If approved, refunds will be issued using your original payment method and may take up to seven business days to process. If the online theory component has been accessed or partially completed, only a partial refund (not a full refund) may be granted.
  • Merchant Fees &/or Transaction Fees may be deducted from the refund amount.

Refund Policy – Extenuating or Special Circumstances

Students who withdraw without sufficient notice being given of the scheduled training course or who did not attend (no-show) for a scheduled course and are ineligible for a refund of fees, but who have experienced extenuating or special circumstances affecting their study, can apply in writing with supporting evidence for consideration of the refund terms.

Acceptable extenuating or special circumstances might include, but are not limited to the following:

• serious medical condition necessitating admission to hospital

• severe mental health condition

• death of a person with whom you had a significant relationship

• obligations to emergency or military services or civic obligations

• other extreme circumstances beyond your control, including a natural disaster, serious accident or job retrenchment

Extenuating and special circumstances do not apply to the following:

• Change of mind

• Student relocating

• Change of employment or working hours

• Job change

• Disengagement from course requirements

No reschedule, credit, or refund will be granted to anyone abusive or aggressive towards ETA Training staff. Student breach of the Zero Tolerance Policy and Student Code of Conduct will be dismissed from the course immediately.
